Shortcuts: COM:AN/B • COM:AN/P • COM:RFPP

This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.


Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.


Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

Hello. That edition of https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:West_Azerbaijan_Province_Ethnic_Map_Detailed.png&offset=&limit=500 is wrong and not accordant to resources. I tried to persuade User:HistoryofIran. But he did not noticed and threatened me to report! He is maintaining a factitious map by threatening other users to report!   • When you disagree with a map on Commons, it is almost always best practice to upload your own version in a separate file, rather than to overwrite someone else's map.
  • It is always best to cite all relevant sources for any map you draw, even those that there is no legal requirement to cite.
  • If you think someone else's map is actively inaccurate (rather than, for example, leaving out information you would add) you can always use {{Fact disputed}} or another similar template.
